Pollinator Garden
A pollinator could be a butterfly, bee, moth, hummingbird, or even a bat. Did you know that pollinators are responsible for one out of every three bites of food we eat each day? Unfortunately, their populations are declining. One way we can help is by planting a pollinator garden at our school. Attracting pollinators will also support our efforts to replant the outdoor classroom that was burned in the Black Forest Fire. The garden will offer numerous learning opportunities for students of all ages.
Bat Houses on Poles
These structures attract bats to the area, providing opportunities for learning about pollination and natural bug control.
StoryWalks™
A StoryWalk™ combines literacy and movement in an outdoor setting.
Movement Courses
These courses involve painting activities on the blacktop and sidewalks, encouraging physical activity and learning through play.
