What We Do
Recommend to the principal priorities for spending school monies
Advise the principal concerning the preparation of the school performance plan
Provide feedback on an advisory basis to the District Accountability Committee (DAC) and Academy District 20 (ASD20) admin concerning principal development plans and principal evaluations
Increase parent engagement in the school, especially for underrepresented individuals
Assist ASD20 in implementing the parent engagement policy
Help school staff increase parental involvement with teachers, including READ plans, ICAPs and truancy plans
When and Where We Meet
We meet at least quarterly at Edith Wolford Elementary School
Meetings might take place in conjunction with the PTO meeting
What We Expect
Commit to serve on the SAC for at least one school year
Attend all SAC meetings, when possible
